K came over last week.
I told her to come stop by and get some MP3's for her new I-pod that she was given for her birthday.
I didn't know if she'd even talk to me. I had missed her birthday party because I had ran into Lindsay and Jules that night in Adam's Morgan. I couldn't make myself leave them again and do that to Lindsay, because she knew where I was headed when they saw me.
But K came over, it was on Wednesday, we burned a DVD full of MP3's and I cooked up stir fry. It was the best fried and marinated tofu I've ever made.
But when diner was over we just kept hanging out.
We laid on the floor, listened to the Yeah Yeah Yeah's live show from the 9:30 on the All Songs Considered website.
We finished a six pack of yengling and smoked two cigarettes that were the last I could squeeze out of my cashed pouch.
After some time we ran out of things to say, I started to fall asleep on the rug.
Still, she wouldn't take the hint to leave. Even though, I hardly wanted her too, I still thought she should, but I couldn't say it to her.
I thought she looked great. And I would love to... but.
It wasn't my choice anyway. It came to be past 12:30, and I had to go to bed. She said she didn't know what she should do. But I could tell what she wanted to do, so I told her to stay.
I put down the bed and went to wash my face. I didn't brush my teeth though, I only swished.
She was already in bed, and when I got in I took a good look at her long brown legs that ended at the top in lacy, cheap panties that she was wearing only along with a borrowed T.
I laid on my back and let her wrap herself around me. It felt like such a good fit.
She burrowed her head bellow my chin. Nestling, like I know she does.
She wouldn't let me go to sleep though, I know what else she wanted, but I wasn't able to give that to her.
Finally, to give her something, I kissed her for the first time in a long time. Felt her soft lips again, and felt how she used them. Slowly, sweetly, like savoring a delicacy.
Then I turned over an went to sleep, and in the morning we walked as far as 14th street together.
